Michelle Durante

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

BSc.HK, M.OMSc

Michelle is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner registered with the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA). She completed her Masters in Practice diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, which teaches Classical Osteopathy through principles-based treatment—meeting all requirements of the 4-year intensive program. Michelle continues to expand her knowledge in functional anatomy, physiology, and osteopathic mechanics to bring her patients the best possible care.

Michelle’s journey in the health and wellness industry began through her studies in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. After completing her undergraduate degree, she knew she wanted to find a specialty focused on helping people live pain-free, healthy lives. In 2016, Michelle completed a graduate program at Niagara College Canada, in Exercise Science for Health and Performance.

Michelle found Osteopathy through her own chronic pain struggle. She tried several forms of manual therapy, leading her to Osteopathic care. It resonated with her as she had found something that provided pain relief. It was also a form of treatment that aligned with her personal values. After some time, she decided to pursue a career in Osteopathy.

With her education, work experience, and passion for helping people, Michelle strives to help her patients in their healing journey.

Away from the clinic, Michelle enjoys biking, hiking with her dog, and, most importantly, time with her family and friends.

Dr. Ann-Marie Regina, ND.

Naturopathic Doctor and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner

My hormone experience began at a young age. Ever since having a period, I only knew pain. I didn't realize that it wasn't normal though. I would try my best to avoid pain medication. I would miss school and sports. My period took over my whole life a few days of every month. When I was finally diagnosed endometriosis, it all made sense. I felt validated and heard. But it took about 10 years for this to happen. My goal as a naturopathic doctor is to support you in a way that I wasn't. I don't want you to have the same story, you deserve better.

Do you want to understand your hormones better?

Have you been told that your period symptoms are "normal"?

Have you been prescribed the pill to "regulate" your cycle?

You are in the right place!

You probably haven't been assessed for the underlying causes of your concerns. Instead, you've been told that you are fine. Dr. Ann-Marie will work with you to investigate what's actually happening in your body. It's not enough to wait for you to feel helpless, uncomfortable and at your wit's end. If you feel like you aren't living optimally or your health concerns are holding you back, know that you have options and Dr. Ann-Marie would love to enlighten you on what they are.
